Recovery: Say cheese!
I've often heard--and I'm sure you have also--that when you're getting your picture taken, you should say, "Cheese!" It's supposed to give you the most relaxed smile. It's supposed to make it look like you're not posing. Here's another suggestion:
Live in the present moment.
When good things happen in your life, smile about it.
When you do things well, smile about it.
When you make someone feel good, smile about it.
When you complete something you're proud of, smile about it.
When you finish a job that you've worked hard on for months, smile about it.
In other words, celebrate your successes--and if you must say it, say, "Cheese!"
Just a little something to make you smile. Have a great week!

You certainly had something to smile about that night! Great presentation! Here's to more smiles as Arizona Authors and Adventurers!
You, too, Teresa! It was a great day--an absolutely great moment for all three of us Arizona Authors & Adventurers.
P.S. I just sent you a photo of the three of us. Patti Todd sent it to me from Sedona Rouge. Wish I had it in time to post here, but we can put it on our travel blog. See you soon.
It's good advice just to remember to smile...the simple act of changing your physiology can not only pull you into the present but change your mood. Thanks for the reminder.
Wow! It sounds like the event went well. I hope you'll tell us more of the details soon.
Debbie
This is a great post. Smiling has a lot of great features.
Have you ever noticed that if you smile, others usually smile back? It can create a wonderful effect on people, even complete strangers.
Also, have you noticed that when you smile, you just feel better? Happier?
Thank you for your article!
