By noticing the details, I find my breathing slows, I feel greater appreciation, and the frantic pace seems to slow a bit. I also think it's so important what you said about asking for help. Most of us aren't good at it, but when I do reach out I find the help provides some peace and leaves time for me to focus on the things I'm better at.Polly Campbellnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-792745986850454057.post-38448790133794431902009-11-06T11:00:11.784-08:002009-11-06T11:00:11.784-08:00I love this post, Jackie. Sigh.

I think the way I relax is actually going out to exercise. And like Brette says, "It just helps me get my head together." Cleaning house can do that as well, for me. But more and more, I'm liking the idea of getting help with that--because there's too much else to do.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09505661913107994459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-792745986850454057.post-43170219795235920272009-10-30T07:12:39.283-07:002009-10-30T07:12:39.283-07:00I walk daily and I do find it meditative.
